What this site keeps, and why.
Only what a feature needs to work, for as long as it needs it, with a way to delete it. Updated 20 October 2026.
An enquiry
- What
- Your name, email address and organisation if you give them, where it would run, what you wrote, a drawing if you attached one, and when each step happened.
- Why
- To answer you, and to show you on your enquiry page what has happened since.
- How long
- Until you delete it from your enquiry page, or two years after it is closed, whichever comes first.
A call you book
- What
- The time you picked, attached to your enquiry.
- Why
- To hold the time for you and send the reminder the day before.
- How long
- As long as the enquiry it belongs to.
A saved drawing
- What
- Your five answers. Your email address only if you asked for the link to be emailed, and then only to say where it went.
- Why
- So the link we give you opens your drawing again.
- How long
- Until you delete it from its page, or 365 days.
A question to the assistant
- What
- The question and whether the site could answer it. Nothing that says who asked.
- Why
- To see what the site does not answer yet, and write that next.
- How long
- 180 days.
The field-notes email
- What
- Your email address, whether you confirmed it, and which notes were sent to it.
- Why
- To send the notes you asked for, and only those.
- How long
- Until you stop them or delete the address with the link in every note. An address never confirmed is deleted after 30 days.
Counting requests
- What
- A one-way code of your connection's address, made with a key that changes every day, and how many requests it made that day.
- Why
- So the forms and the assistant cannot be used in bulk.
- How long
- Until the next day.
- No cookies, no analytics and no trackers. The fonts come from this site, not from a font service.
- Every message we send carries a link that deletes what it belongs to. Deleting is a button you press, never something that happens by opening a link.
- The site runs on Cloudflare: its pages, its database, the email it sends (from website@dashplan.io) and the model behind the assistant (Workers AI). Cloudflare handles your connection's address to deliver the site, as any host does.
- Mail goes only to you and to us. Nothing in a form can send mail to anyone else.
- To ask about what we keep, or to have something deleted that you have no link for, start a conversation and say so.
